“I’m sorry that I let you go. I’m sorry that I cared.”
There aren’t many artists who can grip the tiny tendrils of my heart quite as well as Aquilo. Evoking a rare and raw beauty in their compositions, the Silverdale duo have become pioneers of producing the kind of tear-jerking ballads that will leave you weeping in the corner of the room for days (or that could just be me). As their eagerly anticipated debut album begins to touch the surface, the boys have shared a live version of new track Sorry. Stripped right back to their core, Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher remind us just what it is they do best – they hurt our hearts in the most beautiful way. I mean, come on, just listen to that aching falsetto.
Have a listen to the track below and check out Tom and Ben’s tour dates in October. The boys will also be taking to the stage at Union Chapel with London Contemporary Voices on Saturday 18th June. Grab tickets here.
