Video: Freya Ridings – Lost Without You

“Standing On The Platform, Watching You Go. It’s Like No Other Pain I’ve Ever Known.”

With a penchant for creating deeply moving compositions and performing them in the most mesmerising way, Freya Ridings and her piano have been on a steady rise over the last couple of years. Whether you have witnessed her sold out show at Omeara, seen her perform in a candle-lit Church or watched her words unfold as strangers rushed past you in a bustling train station, you will know what I mean when I say that there is something both strikingly elegant and utterly heart wrenching about her music.

Basking in the viral success received when her track unexpectedly made an appearance on a little known show called Love Island, the 23 year old has now released the breathtaking visuals for her deeply moving ballad Lost Without You. Filmed in London, along the River Thames, the simple and uncomplicated video illustrates the overwhelming isolation felt after a regretful goodbye. With Freya’s gorgeous auburn locks blowing through the idyllic scenery as her deep resounding vocal echoes throughout, director Sophie Muller (Beyoncé, No Doubt, The Killers, Coldplay) makes a video just a stunning as the song itself.

Freya will be hitting the road this Autumn. Be sure to experience her mesmerising sound live for yourselves.
