Michl - Gone

It would seem quite apparent that music has been missing from the pages of this blog over the last few weeks. Horrifically long hours, festivals, birthdays and a crappy internet connection (excuses, excuses) has meant that this little hobby of mine has sadly taken a backseat. But fear not new music lovers, as I have once again returned from the shadows to share my new music discoveries (albeit late ones) with you all.

Having resurfaced in my absence with the aptly titled new single ‘Gone’, as well as the release of his eagerly anticipated debut EP, Michl yet again impressively portrays the mystical glow of an artist who pours his emotions into our ears with effortless ease. At once transfixed with the twisted electronic pop of his addictively dark debut Kill Our Way To Heaven last year, this latest single ushers listeners into another sultry and majestic jam that rests on that Michl’s signature smooth falsetto as it slinks through the tracks hauntingly scattered soundscapes and pulls us down into the heaviness of a missing love.

Retrace your steps on his last few tracks before losing yourself in the newer sounds of Michl’s chilling world below.
