Prides - Rome

Returning to the scene with a thunderous and anthemic roar, Glaswegian-natives Prides show quite the whirlwind evolution on the first material to be released since their debut EP ‘The Way Back Up’ in 2015. Opening with frenetic 80’s electro that at once recalls The 1975, the band’s usual synth-laden sound soon finds a much rockier edge as this new stadium belter sparkles and soars into an emboldened fist-pumping pop song. Commenting on the single, frontman Stewart Brock said, “Lyrically it’s a plea. To stay, to try, to forgive, to work towards something bigger and better.” I have a feeling their next album is going to be massive! Have a listen to the epic single below.
